About this program
iTsGenius is the scheduling and volunteer-coordination product operated by iTsMedia. This single-brand SMS program is limited to changes to selected calendars, including event time or location changes and cancellations. It does not send marketing or messages for other iTsMedia products.
This page documents the required consent procedure. It does not collect phone numbers, enroll anyone, send messages, or establish that SMS service is active. Messaging may begin only after provider approval and activation checks are complete.
How participants are invited
An organizer discusses the calendar with a participant through an existing phone call, an in-person conversation, or the organizer's own email. No automated text from iTsGenius is used to ask an unconsented person to opt in. iTsGenius does not send these organizer emails.
The organizer identifies themselves, the calendar, and iTsGenius as the sender before requesting SMS permission. Agreeing to volunteer, reserving a place, supplying a phone number, or remaining silent does not count as permission for texts.
Disclosure provided before consent
The organizer must read or provide this disclosure, identify the specific calendar, and make the linked policies available before asking for agreement:

Phone or in-person permission
- The organizer names the calendar, explains the program, and reads the disclosure above. The participant is given the policy links and an opportunity to ask questions.
- The organizer asks:
May iTsGenius send these schedule notifications to your mobile number for this calendar?
- Only a clear affirmative answer permits enrollment. The organizer confirms the intended mobile number privately and records the answer, time, method, calendar, and disclosure version.
- If the person declines, is unsure, or does not answer, SMS stays off. The person can still participate in the activity.
Each organizer must retain the actual contact context: who requested permission, the call or meeting date, and how the participant encountered the invitation. This general procedure is not a record that any individual has already consented.
Affirmative email permission
An organizer may request permission through their existing email conversation. Sending the request, receiving a delivery receipt, or failing to receive an objection does not establish SMS consent. Retain the participant's affirmative reply privately.

To agree, reply YES and confirm the mobile number you want to use in this private email conversation. No reply means no enrollment. You can decline and still participate.
Bracketed names in this template must be replaced with the real organizer and calendar. These are instructions and example wording, not a fabricated participant email or proof of an existing consent.
What organizers must record
- The participant, intended mobile number, selected calendar, and iTsGenius program.
- The affirmative response, its date and time, whether it was by phone, in person, or email, and the organizer who received it.
- The disclosure and policy versions provided, with a private email reply or an accurate organizer record of the verbal exchange.
- Any later restriction or withdrawal. Records must be available for a consent inquiry, but must not be published on this page or in public screenshots.
Organizers use private records for the communication evidence and the available iTsGenius permission controls for messaging eligibility. Recording consent is not, by itself, verification that the person controls a phone number. The approved number-verification and enrollment checks must also pass before sending.
Declining or withdrawing permission
Permission is optional and may be withdrawn at any time. Reply STOP to block further texts from this iTsGenius messaging program, or notify the organizer or hello@itsmedia.net. An organizer must promptly record a request received outside SMS and prevent further notifications. A message already in transit may still arrive.
A STOP block must not be overridden by an organizer checking a permission box. Renewed affirmative consent, any required provider unblock, and the selected calendar's permission must all be established before texting resumes. HELP requests do not grant consent. After activation, HELP provides assistance for this program.
